1 · Terms of sale and licence

Supplier and scope

The product content and licence are supplied by SIA “EDINGOLD Baltic”, registration number 40203421744, VAT number LV40203421744, legal address Tīnūžu šoseja 17, Ikšķile, Ogres novads, LV-5052, Latvia, trading as IB FoodTech. Contact: info@ibfoodtech.com.

An authorised checkout provider may act as Merchant of Record for the transaction and will be identified at checkout. It may process payment, calculate and remit applicable transaction taxes, issue receipts and administer transaction refunds under its own terms. IB FoodTech remains the product content provider and licensor.

Product and delivery

The product page and checkout describe the purchased edition, price, tax, language, file formats, licence scope and delivery method. Unless stated otherwise, products are in English, delivered digitally after payment and require compatible spreadsheet, document, PDF and browser software. No subscription, future version, customisation, consultancy, audit support or certification service is included.

Licence grant

On full payment, the buyer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for internal use by the purchasing legal entity. Starter and Professional cover one operating site. Multi-site covers up to five operating sites owned or operated by the same purchasing legal entity. Authorised employees and contractors may use the files only for the licensed entity and sites.

The buyer may complete and adapt templates for the licensed site, make reasonable backups and share completed site-specific records with that site’s authorities, auditors, customers or advisers where necessary.

The buyer may not resell, sublicense, publish, distribute or share blank source files; reuse them for another entity, client or unlicensed site; remove ownership notices; create a competing template library or question bank; upload the files to a public repository; or use them to train a publicly available AI model.

Intellectual property and external sources

IB FoodTech retains all intellectual-property rights in its original methodology, wording, structure, scoring logic, design and explanatory content. Purchase transfers a licence, not ownership. The product is independent and does not reproduce or grant access to third-party standards, certification publications, protected logos or proprietary scheme text. Users must lawfully obtain any external requirements they choose to apply.

Customer responsibilities and liability

The buyer must determine suitability, apply current law and official requirements, enter accurate information, use competent review, protect confidential data and investigate critical gaps. For business customers, to the maximum extent permitted by law, IB FoodTech is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, a failed audit, certification decision, enforcement action, recall or customer rejection. Aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected product. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

Latvian law governs the product licence. Consumers retain mandatory protection granted by the law of their country of habitual residence. Latvian courts have exclusive jurisdiction for business-customer disputes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2 · Refund, cancellation and withdrawal

Digital delivery and mandatory rights

Consumers may normally have a 14-day withdrawal right. For digital content supplied immediately, that right may be lost only after the legally required prior express consent, acknowledgment and confirmation. Mandatory consumer and digital-content conformity rights remain unaffected.

If a file is missing, corrupted, inaccessible or materially different from its description, email info@ibfoodtech.com with the order number and issue. The available remedy may include restored access, replacement, correction, price reduction or refund as required by law.

Business purchases are non-refundable after delivery except for non-delivery, a material defect, a verified duplicate charge, an agreed exception or a mandatory legal remedy. A change of mind, incompatible software contrary to the stated requirements or an expected service not included on the product page does not normally qualify.

3 · Privacy policy

Controller and data use

SIA “EDINGOLD Baltic” is controller for personal data it receives as product provider and licensor. We may process contact, order, licence, support, technical-security and consent records to perform the contract, comply with tax and legal duties, prevent fraud, secure the service and handle claims. The Merchant of Record and other providers process data under their own privacy notices and, where applicable, processor terms.

Assessment answers are designed to remain in the user’s browser and are not sent to IB FoodTech unless the user independently chooses to share an exported file. Clearing browser storage or changing device may remove locally saved answers.

Necessary data may be shared with checkout, payment, hosting, email, security, accounting and professional-service providers or authorities where required. International transfers use an applicable adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful mechanism. Order and tax records are retained for the legally required period; support and security records only as long as necessary.

Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing and withdraw consent. Contact info@ibfoodtech.com. A complaint may be made to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate or the competent authority in the individual’s country.

4 · Cookies and browser storage

No advertising trackers in the current product site

The current site does not intentionally set non-essential advertising or behavioural-analytics cookies. The readiness tool uses browser local storage so answers can remain on the device. Local storage is necessary for that requested function and can be cleared in browser settings.

The external checkout provider may use strictly necessary and other technologies under its own notice and consent controls. If IB FoodTech later adds non-essential analytics or marketing technologies, this policy and an appropriate consent mechanism will be updated before use.

5 · Professional and regulatory disclaimer

Independent preparation support

The toolkit is general professional support for self-assessment, evidence planning, document control, internal audit and corrective action. It is not legal advice, an official standard, certification scheme, audit, regulatory decision, validation or guarantee of compliance, approval, certification or business outcome.

The user remains responsible for site-specific hazard assessment, competent review, validation, implementation, records and current authorised legal and programme sources. Safety-critical limits, microbiological plans, shelf life, heat treatment, pH, water activity, allergen controls and similar decisions require an appropriate legal, scientific, supplier or validation basis.

A readiness score is a management signal only and must never override an unresolved critical risk or missing legal requirement. External links, laws and programme rules change; verify official sources at the time of use.
